Mend on the Move is a non-profit social enterprise that employs survivors of abuse in Metro Detroit. They create jewelry that provides them with an income while in recovery. The jewelry is made from salvaged auto parts and car seat leather interiors, symbolic of serving women locally in the "Motor City"
We give a nod to our pasts in order to heal but we don't stay stuck there. These earrings have a 1970s retro feel made from an auto condenser part donated from Ralco Industries.
